Dror Margalit is a multimedia-producer-turned AI founder building tools that let AI teach. As Co-Founder & CEO of Context, he led a cross-functional team from discovery to launch, designing agentic systems that convert instructors’ syllabi, materials, and lectures into interactive, personalized, fully AI-taught online courses.
 

Dror has coached hundreds of founders through NYU’s Entrepreneurial Institute and the University of Waterloo, guiding teams to product–market fit with user research, rapid prototyping, and iterative testing. At NYU ITP, he taught AI-assisted coding and guided master’s theses on AI-powered learning as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He also advises UWaterloo faculty on integrating AI into teaching and builds tools that help instructors orchestrate and assess AI-driven learning activities.

Before startups and academia, Dror led HR and marketing teams (up to nine people), serving hundreds of people and building B2B/B2C campaigns that emphasized long-term relationships. He holds an MPS from NYU ITP and a BS in Media Studies from The New School, was a semi-finalist in the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship’s Entrepreneurs Challenge, and is an alumnus of the NYU Startup Accelerator.
 

Alongside this work, Dror always found room for the creation of multimedia art that provokes empathy and connection. He produced films, interactive installations, and multimedia projects that invite people to ponder, connect, and play. Let’s create!​​
